Officially the fifth-year wide receiver Allen Lazard has returned with Green Bay Packerssince according to journalist Tom Pelissero of NFL Network, he has already signed his contract restricted free agent for the 2023 season.
Last week, Lazar missed the Packers’ mini-training camp, but he didn’t get fined because he wasn’t technically under contract, plus the catcher was putting pressure on him for a bigger deal, which didn’t come.
During the 2022 academic year, Allen Lazard will be receiving around 4 million dollarsand in 2023, he will become a restricted free agent, so any offer from another club could be matched by the Packers, or they could decide to let him go.
He has more than fulfilled
Since arriving at the Packers in 2018 signed directly from the Jacksonville Jaguars practice squad, Lazard has done nothing but improve his numbers, always operating in the shadow of the great Davante Adams, who luckily was traded to Las Vegas Raiders, so now, Allen has a chance to become the No. 1 receiver.
Last season, Allen Lazard had his highest production as a pro, recording 513 receiving yards, 40 receptions, and 8 touchdowns, all career bests, and second on the team in each category behind Adams.
