The Pokémon Company announces news for Pokémon Scarlet and Pokémon Violet: Emboar will appear in black crystal Teracristal raids from Friday, June 14, 2024, 00:00 to Sunday, June 16, 2024, and then again from Friday, June 21, 2024 to Sunday, June 23.
The two titles are available exclusively on Nintendo Switch.
Also, starting today Cerulledge is now available in Pokémon UNITE, for Nintendo Switch, iOS and Andoid, with his Blade of Remorse technique. More details can be found below.

Catch an Emboar with the Emblem of Ultimate Strength in Pokémon Scarlet and Pokémon Violet!
Emboar will appear in Teracristal raids with black crystals from Friday 14 June 2024at 00:00 UTC, at Sunday 16 June 2024at 23:59 UTC, and then again from Friday 21 June 2024at 00:00 UTC, at Sunday 23 June 2024at 23:59 UTC.
Normally it is not possible to encounter Emboar in Paldea, and the one that will appear during this event is of the Electric teratype. Prepare to face this formidable opponent, who not for nothing bears the Emblem of Absolute Strength! Work together with your friends to KO this powerful Teracristal Pokémon!
This special Emboar can only be captured once per saved game. If you have already captured it in a past Teracristal Raid event, you cannot capture it again. However, you can participate in other Teracristal Raids against the Pokémon to earn other rewards even after you catch it. This Emboar may appear in future events or new ways to obtain it may be introduced. Emboar’s emblem, abilities, and moves will be the same no matter when you catch him during the event.
Information on Teraraid Battles
- To participate in the Teracristal Raid events, download the latest News from the Poképortale by opening the menu with the X button and selecting PoképortalThen Secret Gift and finally Receive news from the Poképortale. To receive the latest News from the Poképortale, a paid membership to Nintendo Switch Online is not necessary.
- After completing certain events at the end of the main adventure, you will be able to find black crystals. However, players who have not completed these events will still be able to participate in Teracrystal Raids originating from black crystals by joining other Trainers in multiplayer mode.
- You will be able to find 5★ Teracristal Raids after completing the main story of Pokémon Scarlet or Pokémon Violet. If you haven’t completed the main story, you can still participate in these Teracristal Raids by joining other Trainers in multiplayer mode.

Ceruledge is now available in Pokémon UNITE!
Cerulledge He’s an All-Rounder who can quickly rush into battle, deal massive damage, and then flee to find his next opponent. The Blade of Remorse, his UNITE move, allows Ceruledge to prepare both arm blades before slashing through the intended location faster than the eye can follow. This combo move also leaves opposing Pokémon it hits unable to move before allowing Ceruledge to hit them with three slashes.
