Infanticides in Parma, a dignified burial for dead newborns. But the mother must first indicate names
New ones emerge details increasingly disturbing regarding the case of the two newborns buried in the garden in the province of Parma from the mother who gave birth to them: Chiara Petrolini. The 21-year-old had managed to fool everyone, even hiding her belly and pretending to be happy with trips abroad. But then she decided to confess everything and now the tests are revealing new aspects of this dramatic story. For example, the fact that even if only for a short time the two children breathed and therefore deserve a name and a dignified burial. There will be – reports Il Corriere della Sera – a registration at the registry office for the two children found dead, buried in the garden of the Petrolini villa in Traversetolo. A procedural question, of course, to then arrive at a proper and dignified burial.
A passage that is certainly bureaucratic and regulatory, but this time more than in other cases gives the sense of dramatic historybeyond any scheme, staged in that house, on that lawn, in the head of mother Chiara. Then other questions, in cascade, that may seem secondary, but that instead give the sense of the facts: who will choose the names? The mother under house arrest, the father closed in his silence, the parents of both, that is, the grandparents? Meanwhile, Thursday is scheduled for the twenty-one year old babysitter the preliminary hearingcould make use of the right to remain silent.
