A delegation from the New Zealand Embassy in the country headed by Sam O’Connor, Deputy Head of Mission, reviewed, during his visit to the Trends Center for Research and Consultation, a number of research and international issues, and ways of research cooperation to serve both sides and spread knowledge.
Dr. Muhammad Abdullah Al-Ali, CEO of the Trends Center, welcomed O’Connor and the accompanying delegation, which included Nadine Shawa, the embassy’s counselor. A brief summary of the Trends Center and the nature of the studies and scientific research it is conducting.
The visiting delegation appreciated the research efforts of “Trends”, noting that it follows the center’s work with great interest, and was keen to visit the center and get to know its activities and efforts closely, expressing its aspiration to continue communication and cooperation in a way that serves research, knowledge and cooperation with think tanks in the UAE and New Zealand. On the other hand, Dr. Muhammad Abu Al-Faraj Sadiq, the Arab writer, thinker and academic researcher visited the headquarters of the Trends Center for Research and Consultations, and met with Awad Al-Buraiki, Dr. Fattouh Heikal, Head of the Scientific Research Sector, and a number of young researchers in the center, appreciating the efforts of «Trends» in qualifying and empowering them in the field of research that opens The path to knowledge and innovation.
