Street festivals and New Year’s fairs are resumed in Moscow, and skating rinks will also open. This was announced on November 26 by the mayor of the capital, Sergei Sobyanin.
“We have already made a decision: we will hold all the festivals. To carry out in the mode of trade, installations. We will hold master classes, indoor work and concerts only if the situation permits. But in general, we will still hold festivals, ”he said in an interview with “RIA News”…
Sobyanin noted that work has already begun to decorate the city for the New Year.
“Travel to Christmas” will be a must. The city is already being decorated today, skating rinks will work, chalets and New Year’s trade will work. Everything will work. And I think that all other festivals will at least continue in the same mode, ”the mayor said.
On November 23, Sobyanin announced that the incidence of COVID-19 in Moscow has been declining over the past three weeks.
According to him, “the last week was generally a record in this regard – the incidence decreased by 30%.” The mayor noted that “from the peak values of the last wave, the incidence and hospitalization have decreased by half exactly.”
“And most importantly, not only the absolute value, but also the dynamics. The dynamics are very good. This suggests that we took these measures on time and correctly, ”Sobyanin said.
He added that the city authorities have achieved an effect when it is possible to work calmly and relieve the burden on healthcare, covid hospitals and clinics.
The Russian authorities urge residents of the country to get vaccinated in order to protect their health and take care of their loved ones. Citizens are vaccinated for free.
