The day many have been waiting for is finally here. After a couple of months of waiting, the new trailer for Deadpool & Wolverine has arrived. This trailer not only gives us a better look at the action and story that this film has in store for us, but it finally lets us see Hugh Jackman as Wolverine once again.
Deadpool & Wolverine presents us with Deadpool trying to prevent his universe from being destroyed, so he will have to reach the MCU to save his loved ones. However, he cannot accomplish this alone, so he seeks the help of a Wolverine.
As the trailer makes clear, the Wolverine that we will see in Deadpool & Wolverine It seems that it will not be the same one that died at the end of logan, something that fans had already speculated. Instead, this variant of the character is part of a universe that was destroyed. Along with this, the trailer features several references to the MCU, such as Aloth, a giant Ant-Man mask, and a Doctor Strange portal.
We already know that the film will feature the appearance of Chris Hemsworth as Thor once again, so the possibility of more MCU characters having some type of presence throughout this film is not ruled out. Deadpool & Wolverine looks like the movie that all fans of these characters have been waiting for years. Best of all, it seems that this will not ruin Logan's ending, since the Wolverine we see here is a different variant of the one we know from the Fox universe.
