The Czech manufacturer's flagship SUV, the Skoda Kodiaq, launches a new generation with increased dimensions, and with a design that features the first elements of the Modern Solid design language.
On the outside, the second-generation Matrix LED headlights and the front grille with a horizontal light band immediately attract attention, while on the inside, recycled fabrics and leather from an ecological tanning process reflect the focus on sustainability .
In addition to the new range structure with specific Design Selections and optional packages, the Kodiaq also features a new interior concept. The infotainment screen is now independent, with a screen diagonal of up to 13 inches.
For the first time, a head-up display is optionally available. The gear selector lever is now mounted on the steering column, giving the center console a very clean and uncluttered look while adding additional space. Skoda's Smart Dials are another all-new feature on the new Kodiaq – three rotary controls located below the infotainment screen. Combining haptic controls with a 32-millimeter color screen, they provide intuitive, easy and customizable access to various vehicle and infotainment functions.

By integrating the AI-based ChatGPT chatbot into its Laura voice assistant, Skoda is improving the in-vehicle experience for many customers and helping to make daily life easier. The new ventilated Phone Box allows inductive charging of two smartphones at the same time, supplying 15 W of power.
Plug-in hybrid
The new Kodiaq It is available with two diesel and two gasoline engines with powers between 110 kW (150 HP) and 150 kW (204 HP). A new addition to the range is the Kodiaq iV equipped with a plug-in hybrid powertrain.
It offers a power of 150 kW (204 HP) and an electric range of more than 100 kilometers. In addition, the 1.5 TSI with 110 kW (150 HP) marks the debut of mild-hybrid technology in the Kodiaq. The 2.0 TSI with 150 kW (204 HP) and the 2.0 TDI with 142 kW (193 HP) come with four-wheel drive as standard. The engines of the new Kodiaq are always associated with a DSG automatic transmission.
