Almost six years have passed since Switch was released, so many users are waiting for the new generation console from the Japanese company. And although no clues have been given, a new leak would indicate that the Pro version would exist and is already in planning right now.
As reported by user reddit, followmeinbluethe company confirmed the existence of the chip NVIDIA Tegra239 with a comment from a developer found on the mailing lists of the kernel of Linux. This comment also confirms that the chip will have a CPUs of 8 cores which would be integrated into the next hybrid device.
It was also revealed that the successor of switch will use the chip T239a customized version of NVIDIA Orin Chip. Based on the Ampere architecture, it features a GPU with 2,048 CUDA cores and a CPU with 12 ARM Cortex-A78AE cores. Still, the next console is rumored to support the technology. NVIDIA DLSS and ray tracing, as both are mentioned in the second generation graphics API.
For now everything is confusing regarding the next console of Nintendo, since on several occasions the president of the company has mentioned that the console is in the middle of its life cycle. Comparing with its competitors, PS4 Y Xboxthis would be the ideal time to make the leap, given that the aforementioned ones lasted 7 years on the market.
