This year PlayStation is in difficult times, given that they do not plan to release anything from their studies for the following months of the 2024, and even with all this, fans remain hopeful of having more exclusives that are not necessarily from third-party studios. And now, a new rumor has arrived, which indicates that the release drought will soon end on the newest console from sony.
Through a publication on the networks, the leaker Radec shared a screenshot of a post instagram now removed from DJ Akademikswhich suggests that there will be a PlayStation Showcase next week. The publication indicates that the artist Kendrick Lamar can’t release another song, which is expected to be the next chapter with drake, until the aforementioned event concludes as is. And said restriction would be directly related to an agreement you have with sony.

This new edition of the event would make some sense, given that an edition of these videos was also held a year ago in which we saw more details of what was coming for the console such as itself. Spider-Man 2, and a few more that fans were looking forward to. And in fact, it will be the ideal time to reveal some release dates, with games that are still in doubt if they will arrive in the 2024 or if in the end they will go to the 2025.
Since there is nothing contemplated on the path, it is possible that Konami take off the train with the release of the remake of Silent Hill 2, which until now has offered few trailers, but could now give a surprise in terms of modification of the errors that fans have not liked. It is also Metal Gear Solid Deltathe remake of the third game that originally came out for PS2which by now should be advanced in its development.

Author’s note: I don’t know if it is possible for a showcase to take place, since there is not much to offer, but there is no other space for them to reveal the date of Silent Hill 2. So we will have to wait to see if Sony confirms the date.
