Residents of a house on Ivan Franko Street in Moscow are forced to move. From the building of Stalinist times, residents are moving to a new building. However, people doubt the quality of modern materials, Izvestia TV channel reports.
“Brick and this misfortune … the so-called monolith, in fact, is a construction only, incomparable. The decoration is cheap, at the level of economy class, not even comfort, as declared. Therefore, of course, people do not want to. With whom it was not possible to agree, they are squeezed out by any methods. The residents were blocked off the passage and fired at the windows of the apartments, ”said Galina Okhorzina, a representative of the residents’ initiative group.
“At first they cut off the gas to us when they began to move people out. After that they came, began to break and break down windows, balconies, fences, ”added Vladimir Ocheretin, a tenant of the house.
The activists of the New People party stood up to protect Muscovites. A protest action was staged near the house on Ivan Franko Street. Together with lawyers, they came to the Kuntsevo court of the capital to support the residents.
“This is not the first case in court that we are trying to support both morally and legally, because we believe that resettling people whose private property is legal, who have lived in their homes, some of them all their lives, is simply chaos. Especially the situation when they were fired on at the windows, ”said Boris Balmont, a candidate for the State Duma from the party.
“New people” took control of the investigation of the incident.
