Lady Bird
Christine (Saoirse Ronan) and her mother Marion (Laurie Metcalf) are going through a rough patch. Christine, who calls herself Lady Bird, discovers adult life, and is very much like her mother. Marion is terrified that her daughter is going to study in a distant city, but expresses her concerns in a rather negative way. The film was nominated for five Oscars.
Superbad
A group of teenagers are about to graduate, but before they leave, they want to throw one more huge party. They want to buy alcohol illegally and desperately try to hit on some girls, but things don’t go as planned in this comedy film.
The Unforgivable
Sandra Bullock plays a woman who is released from prison after 20 years after being held responsible for the death of a police officer. She is alone, has no money to make and attracts a group of people who all have plans for her. Some are really serious, while others want to take advantage of her situation. She sets out to find the sister she left behind 20 years ago, but increasingly wonders if she wouldn’t be better off without her.
