A promotional product for “Black Panther: Wakanda Forever,” the sequel to the film starring the late Chadwick Boseman, has revealed the first official look at actress Letitia Wright in the character of Shuri. With this revelation, the following question has been reopened: who will be the successor of T’Challa (Chadwick Boseman)?
It is the label of a Sprite drink bottle, in which not only Shuri appears, but also Okoye (Danai Gurira). Wright’s character is shown wearing a purple and lilac outfit, as well as a new hairstyle.

As previously announced, the Ryan Coogler-directed film will star Shuri, T’Challa’s younger sister. However, it has not been confirmed to date how Marvel will explain Chadwick Boseman’s absence.
With the options of a CGI reconstruction or a recast of the actor ruled out, Wright recently noted in an interview with Variety that the film will definitely pay tribute to Boseman.
