South Korea’s car maker company Hyundai launched a third-generation Hyundai i20 car in India earlier this month. The car has been given many great features with a completely new design. The new premium hatchback is also getting good response from customers. Hyundai has said that the car has received more than 20 thousand bookings within 20 days.
Some dealerships started taking bookings in mid-October for the third-generation Hyundai i20. However, the company officially started booking the car on 27 October. The company says that by November 5, that is, within 10 days it had received more than 10,000 bookings. At the same time, after launching on November 5, the car got 10,000 more bookings in the next 10 days. The company has so far delivered more than 4000 units of the new car.

The company has also revealed that which variant is being liked by the customers the most. According to Hyundai, customers are most interested in Sportz, Asta and Asta (O). Talking about the figures, 85 percent of the customers have booked these models. Please tell that the new i20 car comes in six single tone and two dual tone color options.

Special features of the car
Talking about the special features of the car, it has automatic headlight, 16-inch steel wheels, leather seat upholstery (in turbo only), 8-inch touchscreen infotainment system and rear camera. At the same time, the car’s Asta variant gets LED projector headlamps, LED DRLs, 16-inch diamond cut alloy wheels, 10.25-inch touchscreen display, BlueLink technology and wireless charging. Apart from this, Electric Sunroof, Cruise Control, Side and Curtain Airbags are also available in Top Asta (O) variant.
Engine and price
The new Hyundai i20 comes in three engine options – 1.2 liter petrol, 1.0 liter turbo petrol and 1.5 liter diesel engine. There are options for manual, iMT, DCT and iVT transmission. Talking about the price, the new i20 car starts from Rs 6.80 lakh and gets up to Rs 11.18 lakh (ex-showroom, India). It will compete directly with Tata Ultraz, Maruti Suzuki Baleno, Honda Jazz and Toyota Glanza.
