Los Morancos visit ‘Las Noches del Malecón’ this Saturday
Years ago, Los Morancos found the key to success on television. Their popularity was no coincidence, because for decades they have shown on the small screen and on stage that, more than luck, behind their achievements there is talent and work. The duo formed by the Cadaval brothers continues in top form and will show it this Saturday on the stage of ‘Las Nights del Malecón’.
‘The gap’ is the name of his latest show. A ‘show’ in which César and Jorge, overwhelmed by the health crisis and the avalanche of bad news, have lost their illusion to make people laugh and have decided to separate. Meanwhile, their usual characters, such as Omaita, Antonia or Paco, after hearing the fateful news, decide to get down to work and try to reunite the duo.
Achieving it will not be an easy task, since along the way they will be interrupted by such disparate characters as Santiago Abascal and Pablo Iglesias, King Emeritus and Corina or the epidemiologist Fernando Simón.
A proposal closely linked to the present day with which the Sevillian duo demonstrates their ability to constantly create new content. On their YouTube channel, Los Morancos Oficial, they show off their art as parody kings in different videos starring the politicians of the moment or their own characters, who cover great musical ‘hits’ adapting the lyrics to the latest events.
Saturday at 10pm.

Among his latest ‘sketches’ is ‘En el balconcito del PP’, in which Isabel Ayuso and José Luis Martínez Almeida sing a particular version of the song ‘La isla del amor’ by Demarco Flamenco as a duet. ‘And tell Covid traca after, after, after’ it sounds like ‘Hawaii’, from Maluma. With almost 3 million views, ‘Vaya un añito’ is the version sung by Omaita and Antonia of Camilo’s hit ‘Vida de rico’.
Small triumphs on the Internet for this duo of artists who began performing in Andalusia and appeared for the first time on television in the program ‘Un, dos, tres …’ in 1984, although their definitive leap to fame took months more late, at the TVE New Year’s Eve gala, ‘Viva 85’, where they performed a flamenco parody in English that served as a national boost. And since then, winning the affection of different generations.
