Ford has unveiled the new Focus, featuring an expressive new design and energy-efficient electric motor, along with advanced connectivity and driver-assist technologies designed to make the ownership and driving experience easier and more rewarding. A new iteration of Ford’s ‘human-centric’ design philosophy brings added confidence and boldness to the Focus exterior, with a more distinctive approach to the Titanium, ST-Line and Active variants. Each of them acquires unique style elements that express their individual personality, with a
X pack available that provides a high specification.
The new Focus
introduces next-generation technology Ford SYNC 4 to more customers than ever, enabling cloud-connected navigation and connected voice control with natural language understanding. SYNC 4 is supported by a new 13.2-inch landscape center screen, the largest in the segment, with an intuitive interface designed to facilitate navigation through a wide range of driving and comfort functions. The technology also enables Ford Power-Up wireless software updates to improve functionality over time.
Advanced driver assistance technologies first introduced in the Focus include Blind Spot Assist, which monitors the driver’s blind spot for vehicles approaching from behind, and can apply counter steering to warn the driver and advise against a Lane change maneuver if a possible collision is detected.
The new Focus includes
electrified options that improve efficiency, refinement and the renowned driving experience that has been a key part of the Focus’ appeal for more than 20 years. Introduces for the first time an automatic transmission option for fuel-efficient 48-volt EcoBoost hybrid engines that deliver up to 155PS. The seven-speed Powershift automatic transmission makes driving less demanding – especially in the city and in stop-and-go traffic – while complementing the electric performance of the hybrid engine to achieve the usual Focus drive.
Ford has also
improved cargo space of 1,653 liters of the wagon variant of the Focus for added practicality, responding to customer feedback to introduce a new area for wet objects, easy-clean carpets and side liners, and a vertical divider for simple and effective organization of cargo space. A spacious and practical tailgate is also offered.
In addition, Ford has also revealed the new Focus ST, developed by Ford Performance. With a sporty new exterior and alloy wheel design, an eye-catching Mean Green paint option, and new self-developed Performance seats, the Focus ST continues to be offered with a high-performance EcoBoost petrol engine and a five-door or five-door chassis. wagon.
