Abu Dhabi (Al Ittihad)
The Supreme Committee for Crisis and Disaster Management in Dubai has issued a decision to restrict attendance at social events, weddings and private parties to first-degree relatives and to only 10 people, whether in hotels or homes, as of Wednesday 27 January.
The Dubai Government Media Office indicated in tweets on its official account on “Twitter”, that this decision comes due to the high number of violations of non-compliance with precautionary and preventive measures to limit the spread of the Corona virus during those occasions.
The committee also issued a decision requiring all restaurants and hookah cafes to increase the separation distance between tables from 2 meters to 3 meters, while reducing the number of people allowed to sit at the same table from 10 to 7 for restaurants and 4 for hookah cafes.
