Twenty-seven young people join the Bar Association, whose dean defends the role of social and professional groups in achieving the City of Justice
The announcement by the Minister of Justice, Pilar Llop, that her department accepts the transfer of municipal land in front of the Santa Lucía Hospital and that the City of Justice will be built on it, marked yesterday at the Cartagena Bar Association the solemn act of swearing of twenty-seven new members, imposition of silver badges on nine lawyers who have completed 25 years in the profession (among them the regional deputy expelled from Vox Juan José Liarte) and delivery of diplomas to seven lawyers who have been in the office for twenty years .
In the El Batel auditorium, its dean, Ángel Méndez, expressed the satisfaction of the group for the promotion of the City of Justice project, which has accumulated a delay of ten years since it was proposed due to the saturation of the Palace of Justice, in the Angel Bruna street. Méndez met with Llop on Thursday on the occasion of his official visit to the city and this Friday he claimed the key role of the Justice Board, made up of lawyers, the College of Attorneys, the Association of Social Graduates, COEC, the Chamber of Commerce and the Federation of Neighborhood Associations.
