Neurodevelopmental disorders in children are increasing in our country. Some examples: one child in 77, according to data from the Istituto Superiore di Sanità, suffers from an autism spectrum disorder; learning disorders or attention deficit hyperactivity disorders are very frequent in the school-age population (5%) (3.5-5% of school-age children). This is remembered by the Italian Society of Child and Adolescent Neuropsychiatry, SInpIa, which a few days ago – on 11 May – promoted the third National Day for the Promotion of Neurodevelopment, and which has developed a decalogue for good mental health of children.
