Constantly, Netflix seeks to supply its catalog with new productions. Among these are some from the anime world, and as expected, August is not going to be without its good dose.
As on other occasions, there is a mixture of television series with movies. Here it is worth mentioning that the company has a strange and peculiar ‘tendency’ to catalog various animated productions in the same way.
A good dose of anime premieres on Netflix
In what sense? Well, simply, that it considers anime productions that, although they have animation reminiscent of the work of Japanese studios, simply do not fall into that category.
Do not worry, in which case we will mention which ones are not. We think that perhaps the term mentioned above is intended to attract the attention of the public: perhaps it sounds more attractive than saying Western or non-Japanese animation.
The return of Shaman King already has a release date
What is true is that a good amount of anime increasingly resort to studios outside the country of the Rising Sun, such as Chinese or Korean animation houses.
Although the assembly of the anime, the direction and the main tasks are done in Japanese lands, things become more and more diffuse. We will see if this new wave of animations gives something to talk about next month. At least one of them will fill the fans with a lot of nostalgia.

This anime is a new version of the original that came out in 2001. In Latin America it will be available under the name of Shaman king, and the story is similar.
Again, the medium Yoh Asakura joins a tournament held every 500 years, the outcome of which will decide who will reign over the rest. Supposedly, this new edition is much more attached to the manga.

This story is inspired by the games in the series Monster hunter, and especially, in one of his characters, the young man Aiden. Together with a group of intrepid hunters, he must face a powerful dragon that threatens his village.
This new film is a production of the American studio Pure Imagination Studios, and uses computer-generated 3D graphics.
Premiere: August 23.
This is not a TV series, but a movie that is produced by Studio mir, a Korean animation house, for Netflix.
Instead of focusing on Geralt of Rivia does it in Vesemir, making it a prequel to the franchise. East witcherHunting fantastic beasts for money, he must face a much greater and more dangerous threat.
Premiere: August 26.
This anime is based on a manga by Hiro mashima, creator of Fairy tail, and the story focuses on Shiki. This boy lived peacefully in a world populated by robots.
But one day a girl named Rebecca and his cat Happy, shaking everything you know. Together with her they look for a space goddess, living many adventures and meeting new friends.
Other series coming to Netflix in August
In addition to the productions mentioned above, there will be other anime available on Netflix in August. However, they are not dated yet. The first one is Darwin’s Game, which is also in the catalog of Crunchyroll, Y Rascal Does Not Dream of Bunny Girl Senpai.
It remains to be seen when they will be available, since not even their pages are published in the catalog of this video on demand service.
