Among the novelties of next year that we will find on Netflix there is certainly “Monaco: on the verge of war”, the new film by Christian Schwochow, based on the bestseller by Robert Harris. The film is based on the namesake best seller of 2017 of Robert Harris which tells the story of the opening to the Second World War In the 1938.
The film will be released starting in January in some cinemas selected, to be made available on Netflix from January 21, 2022.

1938. There Second World War is nearing its beginning, but in the meantime the international powers are looking for a solution to the spread of the nationalism in Europe and at expansionist aims of the Germany, particularly France, Italy And UK they work together to avoid the outbreak of war.

TO Monk, two young people diplomats and former colleagues at theOxford University, they come together to confront each other on behalf of their governments. On the one hand there is Hugh Legat, British public official, and on the other Paul Von Hartmann, German diplomat.
The cast
In the shoes of the two protagonists Hugh Legat And Paul Von Hartmann we find respectively George MacKay And Jannis Niewöhner. The former is known to the public for having performed William Schofield in 1917 from Sam Mendes, winner of three awards Oscar.
In the role of Adolf Hitler we find Ulrich Matthes, while Neville Chamberlain is played by Jeremy Irons, winner of the Oscar Prize to the best actor In the 1991 for the movie The Von Bulow Mystery.
