The last season of the hit series Ozark can be seen next year in two parts of seven episodes each. The first part of the final season will appear on January 21, 2022, Netflix announced today.
The trailer for the new series, also released on Tuesday, shows that the fourth season continues right where the third season left off. The ongoing feud between various drug cartels left the viewer in March 2020 with a huge cliffhanger. The first images also somewhat reveal how the series will tie up the loose ends in the storylines.
Ozark follows the family of a financial advisor (Jason Bateman) who travels with his family to the Ozark Mountains in Missouri to launder money for criminals. His wife (Laura Linney) and children go with him. The Netflix series started in 2017 and has since won several awards, including a Screen Actors Guild Award twice and an Emmy for Bateman.
