After presenting the third quarter accounts, in which the company has shown profits of 2,210 million dollars and an increase of almost 700,000 subscriptions, the streaming, Netflixhas applied an increase in the price of its rates in both Spain and Italy. In this way, it follows the example that it has already implemented in other European countries, as well as in Japan.
This decision comes, as the company has explained, motivated by the high loyalty of its userssince the brand has the lowest casualty rate in the entire sector. And even with this measure, Netflix is confident that subscriptions will increase during the next quarter thanks to its upcoming releases and once they have paid for the damage of the Hollywood writers’ strike of 2023.
As can be consulted in Netflix’s own websiteprices have increased slightly regarding the rates in force until this Thursday. In general, the three options have increased between one and two euros per month. Likewise, adding users in each option has also become more expensive.
