Video on demand platforms have actively contributed to the globalization of content. A globalization from which Spain has benefited greatly. Works like La casa de papel, Elite or Verónica have become not only national but global phenomena. In that sense, now Netflix announces a spin-off of A blind set in Spain, which reinforces this trend. The first details about this surprising project have already come to light and make it clear how confident you are Netflix in Spanish productions.
The director of the original film, Susanne Bier, commented that they had a sequel in mind, but it would not be this new film. In this case, as comment the Espinof portal, the brothers Alex and David Pastor (Hogar, Carriers, The Head) will be both the directors and the scriptwriters of the play, while the production company Nostromo Pictures will offer the services of Núria Valls and Adrián Guerra (Hogar, Contratiempo, Buried). For now, both the title of this film and the cast that will give life to its characters are unknown, but it is to be expected that these details will be revealed little by little.

Since the film will be set in Spain, It is unlikely to think that Sandra Bullock can repeat in the cast, as her presence would have more logic in the aforementioned sequel.
