Petition
Since 2018, the residents of that subdivision have demanded before the City Council that they meet the aforementioned demands, but they only give up.
He explained that they have very restricted road access, so many of the streets are very narrow and it is difficult to enter the Santa María, which brings with it a big problem, since ambulances cannot access the area when there is a accident.
He explained that the subdivision is too large, so that in peak hours it is difficult to be able to leave all through the same access, therefore it is that they request that a wide boulevard be installed to be able to free the traffic and enter without problems.
He stressed that Mazatlán Street, located in the Lomas del Mar neighborhood, could serve as a connection to the subdivision, however, the only thing that prevents it is a lot that is located there.
Recreative areas
He emphasized that since the Santa María subdivision was expanded, some areas of the sector were left without green areas, which would serve for people to exercise in the afternoons and children have the opportunity to play there in their free time.
He added that they were only left with a piece of land proportional to a house, 7 x 18 meters, as a green area, where they placed a bench and a small children’s game.

“Right in front of the secondary school there is a vacant lot, when it was free, people took advantage of it and exercised every day, because the construction company ordered it to be fenced,” highlighted the local resident.
Bojórquez Lugo declared that there is a major health problem in the entire sector due to the spill of sewage, and to top it off, the leak detonates right in front of the school zones.
