In the ceremony in which Stephen Currymaximum legend of the Golden State Warriors of the NBA, received the keys to the city of Charlotte, the guard caused a stir by revealing something that surprised everyone present.
“I always said I wanted to finish my career at Golden State because of how much it means to me, the experiences and the teammates and the journey that we’ve been on. People always say, ‘Do you want to play a year on the Hornets and come back?’Curry began by saying before the crowd went into a frenzy.
Curry recently became champion for the fourth time in 8 years with the Warriors, after defeating the boston celtics in the Finals, in a series that was defined in 6 games, with Curry being chosen the Most valuable Player.

However, the best shooter of all time, 2-time MVP of the season, and 2-time basket-playing champion, calmed the waters, by only speaking hypothetically, when he revealed that he would play for the Charlotte Hornets, in case he had to choose, and he couldn’t play for Golden State.
“No, no, I will not give any news. I am not making any promises. All I would say is if there was a team I wanted to play for other than the Warriors, it would be this one.”, he added.
It should be noted, that Stephen Curry was born in Cleveland Ohio, as his father, Dell Curry, who was also an NBA player, was a member of the Cavaliers at the time, however, he grew up in Charlotte, when his father moved to the Charlotte Hornets, where he spent 10 years.
