The Spanish giant of the military naval industry Navantia will join forces with the firm specialized in cybersecurity S2 Grupo to develop advanced cyber defense solutions and combat computer threats, for which they have signed a strategic agreement.
The two Spanish companies have signed a strategic agreement to promote these lines, which they also ensure contributes to strengthening the strategic autonomy of Europe and the technological sovereignty of Spain.
This agreement will allow Navantia’s naval platforms and systems, recognized worldwide for their quality and innovation, to integrate fully European cybersecurity solutions developed in collaboration with S2 Grupo. These capabilities will guarantee comprehensive protection against cyber threats, contributing to the strengthening of European strategic autonomy and national sovereignty.

As they explain, the agreement will materialize through actions aimed at protection by designso that cyber defense capabilities will be integrated from the initial design phases, using digital twins to simulate and mitigate cyber risks before the platforms come into operation.
