A weekend ideal for those on vacation or they can make a getaway to spend it outdoors, but without respite in the case of those who cannot go out for a walk. According to the forecast of the National Meteorological Service, high temperatures are anticipated both this Saturday and Sunday throughout the country, with maximums that in some regions will reach 40 degrees.
The most intense will occur in a large part of Cuyo, La Pampa, the southwest of the Province of Buenos Aires and northern Patagonia, with highs between 36 and 40 degrees; and minimums that will not drop below 20 and, in some cases, will be 25. There, there is an alert for the heat wave, with the usual recommendations not to expose yourself to the sun between 12 and 16, wear light-colored light clothing and drink plenty of water.
In the City of Buenos Aires and the Buenos Aires suburbs, where at ten in the morning the thermal sensation it was already 27.5 degrees, Saturday started with a clear sky and winds from the north sector that will rotate towards the east. For Sunday, the agency foresees a slightly warmer day still, with somewhat cloudy to partially cloudy skies, winds from the north sector rotating to the east and gusts of up to 50 kilometers per hour, The minimum will be located near 25 degrees and the maximum will rise to 35.
The extended forecast anticipates that the heat will not subside on the first business day of the week. On Monday the sky will be partially cloudy, with winds again from the north, which will take the thermometers to a maximum of 35 degrees and a minimum that will remain at 25.
The string of days without rain in the metropolitan area of Buenos Aires will last until Tuesday, when there could be some showers. However, the impact on temperatures, as anticipated, will not be decisive: the maximum will still be at 34 degrees. Only on Thursday, after a Wednesday with some showers, the heat will subside a bit: for that day 22 minimum and 28 maximum are expected.
On the coast
On the Atlantic Coast, this weekend the good weather will invite you to the beach, with temperatures somewhat lower than in the Metropolitan Area of Buenos Aires but above normal.
