Fascism, neo-Nazi subversive association in Naples: searches throughout Italy and 26 people under investigation
Burst of searches by the State Police of Naples, delegated by the Public Prosecutor of the Campania capital, throughout Italy against 26 people under investigation for subversive neo-Nazi and supremacist associations.
This is an operation in the context of an investigation carried out by the Neapolitan Digos and by the Prevention Police Central Direction – Service for the Contrast of Extremism and Internal Terrorism.
The searches, which affect the provinces of Naples, Caserta, Avellino, Siena, Rome, Turin, Ragusa, Lecce and Ferrara, were carried out by the respective Digos offices with the collaboration of the Postal Police and Communications Service.
Last May the prosecutors in Naples had already ordered searches against some of the suspects, after the interception of messages in which reference was made to the availability of weapons and the planning of sensational violent actions. Searches that made it possible to seize ammunition, ‘soft air’ weapons including some grenade launchers, military tactical clothing and devices which were then the subject of technical investigations.
The analysis of the acquired data confirmed the hypothesis that the neo-Nazi association had organized itself and was characterized by a hierarchical compartmentalization, trained its members militarily and some also attended courses abroad for the use of short firearms. and long and for hand-to-hand combat. The searches also involved people who were not investigated but who had frequent contact with the suspects.
