“DOLI.ru”: the cheapest way to buy a room is in Chelyabinsk
In August 2022, the cheapest way to buy a room is in Chelyabinsk. Megacities of Russia with the lowest prices for such real estate were named by experts of the profile real estate agency “DOLI.ru”. The text of the report is at the disposal of Lenta.ru.
According to experts, the average cost of a single room in Chelyabinsk is at the level of 589.1 thousand rubles. For eight months, the price increased by 5.09 percent or 28.5 thousand rubles. Among the cities with the most budget options for such housing, experts also indicated Voronezh, Volgograd, Omsk and Samara.
The most noticeable increase in prices for rooms was noted in Novosibirsk – there such real estate has risen in price since the beginning of the year by 22.19 percent, to 1.3 million rubles. Significant dynamics was also recorded in Kazan and Nizhny Novgorod, where prices for rooms increased by 22.16 and 20.16 percent, respectively. Least of all, similar objects rose in price in Rostov-on-Don – by 4.36 percent, to 911.8 thousand rubles.

At the same time, the most expensive rooms are available for purchase in Moscow — their average cost has reached 5.66 million rubles, having increased by 4.76 percent since the beginning of 2022. In St. Petersburg, rooms have risen in price by 13.84 percent, to 3.17 million rubles.
Earlier, CIAN analysts named Russian megacities with a sharp increase in the cost of renting one-room apartments. Rostov-on-Don turned out to be the leader of the rating – the average hiring rates in this city increased by 21 percent, to 22.2 thousand rubles per month. The second place was taken by Barnaul – there such apartments have risen in price by 19 percent, up to 15.5 thousand rubles a month. The top three was closed by Chelyabinsk, where the cost of renting “odnushki” increased by 16 percent, to 15.2 thousand rubles a month.
