Muscovites were told about the installation of the safest elevators in new residential buildings. Distinctive features of modern lifts are listed on the official website mayor of the capital.
Silence, convenience and safety are named among the advantages of the Strizh model lifts manufactured by the Moslift enterprise. In 2021, about 600 copies were produced and installed.
“These are comfortable elevators with well-lit cabins and high stopping accuracy on the floor,” said Vartan Avakyan, General Director of JSC Moslift. The specialist clarified that for people with disabilities, the new lifts have Braille buttons, and the doors are equipped with an infrared control system: it prevents the doors from closing if there is a person in the opening. “Some cabins are equipped with video communication to call the dispatcher,” Avakyan added.
Elevators “Strizh” are installed in houses under construction under the renovation program. Also, according to the city’s overhaul program, new lifts replace lifts that have served 25 years. Design solutions allow you to carefully integrate modern lifts even into the old houses of the capital. Where the shaft is too narrow, telescopic doors are used – their wings are folded, running into each other.
“Previously, elevators with cabins made of chipboard and fiberboard were installed in houses. They did not meet fire safety requirements. Now we are replacing them with products made of painted or stainless steel with corrugated aluminum flooring,” said Nikolai Baranov, Deputy General Director of Moslift JSC for Factory Operations. He clarified that the bulk of the Swifts are of a standard gray color, but at the request of the residents, the company’s employees can make cabins with an individual design.
It is noted that thanks to the drive with a frequency converter, the Strizh model lifts are quite quiet: the cabin moves smoothly, and the doors open and close softer.
Earlier, Sobyanin created a Commission in Moscow to increase the sustainability of economic development.
