In line with its vision aimed at empowering women in various fields and areas of work across various sectors and enhancing their leadership role in the economic sector in the Middle East region, the Nama Foundation for the Advancement of Women and coinciding with International Women’s Day announced the signing of a cooperation agreement with PepsiCo, PWC and Ifco, and this step reflects the importance of the “Irtiqaa” initiative, which was launched by the Corporation with the aim of advancing the work environment for women and making it more inclusive and productive.
The Foundation emphasized that the Irtiqa Guide is based on three strategic priorities to drive positive change towards an equal work environment: enhancing the ability of companies to achieve tangible results for gender equality, raising awareness and expanding knowledge about the benefits of diversity and inclusion across the workplace; And maximizing frameworks of cooperation with stakeholders to promote increased participation of women in various sectors and fields, including business, economic and community.
Under the cooperation agreement, PepsiCo and PwC, in their capacity as “Irtiqaa” ambassadors, will work alongside the Namaa Foundation for the Advancement of Women, to enhance public awareness about the latest trends and prospects regarding bridging the gender gap in the fields of employment, as well as create networking opportunities for business leaders from In order to exchange practical experiences to integrate women into the private sector.
