Nairo Quintana spoke about what will happen in the pavé stage of the Tour

The Colombian Nairo Quintana considered “complicated” the fourth stage of the
Tour de France, who finished in the group of the general favorites, but assured that the first days have already begun to wear down the riders, although he said that he is in good condition.

“It has been a difficult stage from the beginning, it meandered less than we thought, but all day there were cuts and tension. In the end the favorite started, he is an incredible cyclist”, said the Arkea rider.

Quintana affirmed that the objective of not losing time with respect to the favorites was achieved in this first week.

“We continue in our line, without losing time with the favorites and being very attentive”, I said the boyacense.

“There is still a long way to go, Thursday will be a new test”, he stated regarding the cobblestone stage this Wednesday.

“We are beginning to expend energy, we have to make an effort to be ahead, but for now we are fine”, he added.
