Nairo Quintana saved the day in the second stage of the Tour de la Provence, which was played this Saturday between Arles and Manosque, 180 kilometers long, which was won by Bryan Coquard, while Filippo Ganna remains the leader.
The cyclist from Boyacá of the Arkea-Samsic team entered the sixth box of the stage and keeps alive the hope of fighting for the title of the competition, which he already won in 2022.

Coquard achieved victory with a time of 4 hours, 19 minutes and 42 minutes, followed by Julian Alaphilippe, who could not beat him in the final.
Nairo never looked broken. The end was on a slope, not ideal for him, but he followed the wheel of his rivals.
Alaphilippe and the Cofidis team were in charge of moving the competition, but Quintana remained attentive, because his interests were not to lose the wheel and give up time, and it’s country.
The race began with the news of the abandonment of the Ecuadorian Ríchard Carapazwho tested positive for covid-19.
This Sunday will be the last fraction between Manosque and Montagne de Lure, 166 kilometers long, with three mountain passes, two of the third and one of the first, the latter at the finish line.
