Just as expected, the Nintendo 64 app on switch has received a new update. This time, not only has been added Pilotwings 64 to the catalog of games available on this service, but also a number of improvements in this version.
You can now download N64 version 2.7.0 on Nintendo Switch. Yes ok the arrival of Pilotwings 64 is the most striking, this update has also added a couple of subtle improvements to a couple of titles on this service. These are the patch notes:
“-Pilotwings 64 added
-Removed a limiter for the number of RSP tasks (part of the N64 GPU) per frame in F-Zero X
-‘RDPIntDelay’ and ‘RDPIntDelayRelative’ added to Mario Golf GPU settings
-Added a setting called ‘control_opt_layout_pattern’, which varies by game.
Considering the pace that Nintendo is going, it is very likely that in November we will see another update for the N64 application, which is not only responsible for adding a new game to the service, but also improve the performance of various titles already available. On related topics, the Switch received a new update. Similarly, these are the Switch Online rewards for October.
Editor’s note:
Considering how fast Nintendo is going, I’m hoping that next year we’ll finally see more classic games on the Switch, and I’m not just referring to the NES, SNES, N64 and Genesis, but also Game Boy titles and maybe GameCube titles.
