The chief physician of Moscow Hospital No. 71 and TV presenter Alexander Myasnikov commented on several deaths among patients with chronic diseases who managed to undergo a full vaccination against coronavirus. He expressed his point of view in a post published in his Telegram-channel.
“I would like to remind you that the COVID vaccine is not an elixir of immortality. It does not give eternal life. Severe oncological and cardiac and other patients hospitalized in intensive care almost always die from associated infections, “Myasnikov said.
He noted that pneumococcus, staphylococcus, Pseudomonas aeruginosa, fungal infections are most often such “companions” of such diseases. According to Myasnikov, today the coronavirus has joined these microorganisms. The vaccine, on the other hand, dramatically reduces the risks of a severe form of COVID-19, and that is why, according to the doctor, it is necessary to vaccinate the older generation of Russians with chronic diseases as soon as possible.
“The vaccine is vitally important for elderly people with serious illnesses. Such patients are urgently needed to be vaccinated against influenza, pneumococcus, COVID, and herpes! This is how we increase their chances of survival! But – alas! – we do not make them immortal … “, – Myasnikov wrote.
Earlier it became known that in St. Petersburg recorded several deaths among patients who managed to undergo a full vaccination against coronavirus. Moreover, all the deceased had severe concomitant chronic diseases and pathologies.
