The corona infection is spreading rapidly in the Lal Bahadur Shastri National Academy of Administration (LBSNAA) located in the Mussoorie region of Uttarakhand. On Friday, 33 trainee officers were found corona infected. A day later, on Saturday, the number rose to 57. Along with social distancing in the academy, the rest of the officers and staff are also being tested. According to the Twitter handle of the Lal Bahadur Shastri National Academy of Administration, there are a total of 428 trainees currently in the academy for training. Out of this, RTPCR test of 162 trainee officers has been done. Out of this, 57 trainees have been infected by Corona so far.
All classes online until 30 November only
LBSNAA director Sanjeev Chopra informed that the classes running in the institute are in online mode, “All the trainee officers have been sent to the isolation room. Till November 30, all classes will run in online mode only. Along with this, there will be a separate schedule for use and food of the library.
428 officers are taking training in academy
On October 13, the 95th Foundation was held at the Academy. Currently, 428 officers are undergoing training in the 15-week foundation course at the academy. These officers include people from the Indian Administrative Service (IAS), the Indian Foreign Service (IFS), the Indian Police Service (IPS) and the Indian Forest Service (IFS).
