In Maharashtra, preparations for the opening of schools from ninth to twelfth have started loudly. After writing letters to all Manpa and District Magistrates on behalf of the Education Department, free corona investigation is going on. This test is mandatory to attend the school, so now teachers and non-teaching staff are fearfully going to the Corona Testing Centers and there is restlessness till the report comes. With the investigation conducted, teachers have raised questions about sanitizing the schools.
According to the teachers, the teacher who does not submit the report to the school after conducting corona examination, cannot attend the school. A similar imperative should rest on the authorities of the local administration. If schools are not sanitized before 23 November and thermal guns, oximeters, sanitizers etc. are not provided by the local administration. All such officers should also be treated as non-present from the date of issue of GR.
Free corona check of teachers
Mumbai Principal Association Secretary Prashant Redidge said that a free corona investigation of teachers is going on on the demand of their organization. Teachers should get this check done. He said that till now about 30 percent teachers and non-teaching staff have got the investigation done. Reports of many people have also come. He said that ‘it is right that the teachers are conducting the investigation in fear, as there have been many cases when the person did not have symptoms, but the report came positive. Due to this, there is discomfort while conducting the investigation and till the report is received, there is a worry in the mind.
No problem to teach when school opens
Prashant Redidge said that teachers have no problem with teaching when the school opens. Teachers will also conduct an inquiry and submit a report to the school, but when the local administration will arrange the school’s decontamination, thermal gun, oximeter, etc. So far no school has been sanitized, nothing has been provided by the local administration in any private and aided school.
Teachers upset with the Corona investigation on holiday
Shivnath Darade, CEO of the Mumbai Department of Maharashtra State Teachers Council, said that the government has declared a Diwali holiday. Due to this many teachers are out. In this case, the GR has been asked to investigate the corona. The teachers who have gone out of this are upset about the Corona investigation. There should be a system for the corona examination of the teachers who reside near their place of residence, so that the teachers do not have to go far for investigation. He said that many such cases were reported on Friday, where teachers had to bother to conduct corona investigation. He was returned to Kalyan’s hospital at 4:30 pm and was called on Saturday.
