The General Authority of Islamic Affairs and Endowments participated in the 32nd Conference of the Supreme Council for Islamic Affairs, which is being held in Cairo under the patronage of Egyptian President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, from 12-13 February 2022 AD under the title: “The Citizenship Contract and its Impact on Achieving Societal and Global Peace”, in the presence of A number of Islamic affairs ministers, muftis, scholars, thinkers and writers from different countries of the world.
In his speech at the conference, Dr. Muhammad Matar Salem Al Kaabi, Chairman of the General Authority for Islamic Affairs and Endowments, stressed that the government of the United Arab Emirates has entrenched the values of citizenship in its constitution, laws and legislation, which were set by the founder of our state and builder of our civilization, Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan – may his soul rest in peace. and his brothers, the rulers of the Emirates, and his wise leadership followed his approach, which was keen to promote national values in the hearts of the people of the country and generations, through many initiatives and programs. The highest levels of competition in creativity and innovation, so that every Emirati citizen reflects a positive image of his homeland and society in his high-end interactions, open to the global environment and diverse cultures, and striving to build bridges of coexistence and tolerance with all different peoples.
