The first circuit in the world to obtain ISO 20121 certification – Management system for sustainable events in 2020, the Mugello International Circuit continues to excel in the field of sustainability, raising the bar every time.
The commitment of the management is in fact constant and manages to raise the bar every time. Thus, on the occasion of the CIV – Italian Speed Championship, the maximum expression of national motorcycling with the FMI – Italian Motorcycle Federation – the Audit for the three-year renewal of the certification was performed.
ISO 20121 is in fact the international reference standard for the organisation, management and implementation of events in line with a recognized path of sustainable development. The goal is to minimize short and long-term environmental impact, while improving social and economic impacts.
Internationally, only Mugello, Misano, Imola, Vallelunga and Barcelona have obtained ISO 20121 certification. The first to obtain certification, the Tuscan plant is also the first to renew it.
