The Disney Plus series Ms Marvel could be postponed to early 2022, according to a report that appeared online and reported in the newspaper TechRadar, which seems to confirm the arrival in the first period of next year. The series was scheduled for the second half of 2021 but the source, which says it has asked directly, foresees a possible exit window set for the first quarter of 2022.
The series was first presented in December 2020, during Disney Investor Day 2020 where the presence of the protagonist within Captain Marvel 2, due out in November next year. This character is a further addition to the MCU, which is increasingly filling up with new characters and new stories.
Originally the adventures of the young Khamala Khan they had to come out before the other series Hawkeye, which recently had confirmation of its release date, along with some preview images. The release window of the series dedicated to Clint Barton would seem to coincide with the hypothetical release date of Ms Marvel, thus confirming the postponement.
We also remember that towards the end of this year the films will have to arrive Marvel’s Eternals And Spider-Man: No Way Home, so it is very unlikely that the series will be released concurrently with these films. It should also be remembered that during Disney Investor Day 2020 no reference was ever made to a date or a time window, only to a generic end of next year.
Many outlets have tried to contact Disney directly about the reports and the company has not yet made any official comments regarding the possible postponement. Seeing as the latest film scheduled for this year is Spider-Man: No Way Home, with a date set for December 17, it is very likely that the Disney Plus Ms Marvel will be available on the subscription service in the first months of 2022.
