Movies The Cannes Film Festival starts today, with several Finnish films

Today Several Finnish films will be screened at the Cannes Film Festival.

The main race series will see Juho Kuosmanen steering Cabin No. 6, loosely based Rosa Liksomin to a novel of the same name published in 2011.

Iikka Vehkalahti The Finnish-Indian documentary Invisible Demons was selected as the first Finnish documentary in a new, climate-themed series.

Critics’ Week will be seen Khadar Ahmedin debut film Guled & Nasra. It is the first Finnish feature film to be distributed in a cinema, shot on the African continent and spoken entirely in Somali.
