The former forward of Arsenal and Everton, Kevin Campbelldied this Saturday at the age of 54 after suffering “a serious illness that had him admitted to a hospital in England.”

Campbell played 542 games throughout his career and scored 148 goals. He was a professional footballer between 1988 and 2007 and spent the best years of his career in the Arsenal. With the ‘Gunners he played 163 games and scored 46 goals, and with the Everton He played in 137 games and scored 36 goals.
The English striker won a English League, an FA Cup, a League Cup and a European Cup Winners’ Cup with the ‘Gunners’.

For his part, the Everton reported this month that the former British striker had been admitted to hospital and was “very serious.”
