Motorola Razr 50 and 50 Ultra: First images and specifications leaked

United States.- Thanks to multiple leaks of specifications, we already have a pretty clear idea of ​​the hardware that can be expected from the next duo of Motorola foldable phones: the Razr 50 and the Razr 50 Ultra.

Motorola Razr 50

The Motorola Razr 50, also known as Moto Razr 2024, shows a notable improvement in design compared to its predecessor. Among its most notable feature is its leather finish on the back, which gives it a premium look and feel.

As for the external screen, it has grown significantly, now with a diagonal of 3.63 inches and a POLED panel. The internal screen is a 6.9-inch POLED unit with a resolution of 1080 x 2640 pixels and a refresh rate of 120 Hz. On the subject of cameras, it has a 50MP main camera, a 13MP ultra-wide angle and a 13MP punch-hole selfie camera.

Inside, we find a MediaTek Dimensity 7300X 5G chipset, along with 8 GB of RAM and 256 GB of storage. The battery will be 4,200 mAh, and the phone weighs 188 grams and measures 171 x 74 x 7.2 mm when unfolded. The Razr 50 is expected to be priced around 899 euros.

Motorola Razr 50 Ultra

The Razr 50 Ultra, also known as Razr+ 2024, is the most premium version. It features an even larger 4-inch POLED external display and a leather back with color options including green, peach, and blue.

The internal screen has the same dimensions as the Razr 50, at 6.9 inches and a resolution of 1080 x 2640 pixels, but offers a refresh rate of 165 Hz. This model has a 50MP main camera, a telephoto camera 2x 50MP and a 32MP punch-hole selfie camera inside.

The Razr 50 Ultra will likely come with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 chipset, accompanied by 12GB of RAM and 256GB of storage, with a 512GB variant also available.

The battery has a capacity of 4000 mAh and supports wireless charging. Other features include IPX8 protection and Hello UI on top of Android 14, with AI-powered photo and video capture and editing tools. The Razr 50 Ultra is expected to be priced at around €1,200 in Europe and $999 in the United States for the 12GB/256GB version.

Both phones are expected to be launched in June globally.
