It is commonplace to see motorists and motorcyclists circulate with their cars or motorcycles at speeds higher than those permitted by law, even if in some cases there are those who get carried away too much and exaggerate with the accelerator. This is exactly what happened to a young motorcyclist in Sassari, a new driver born in 1999, who was caught driving his own motorcycle to whiz past. 142 km / h in an inhabited center, where obviously the speed limit allowed by law is 50 km / h.
The young man was pinched by the telelaser of the local police of Sassari, engaged for months in the road safety campaign “Operation transparency”. Exceeding the speed limits of over 90 km / h cost the novice motorcyclist a rather heavy penalty: the license, which has been reduced as many as 20 points, was temporarily withdrawn, for a period that can last up to twelve months. Not only that: the boy was also inflicted one fine of 845 euros, a crazy race between houses and pedestrian crossings that did not go unnoticed by the police. The excessive exceeding of the speed limits affects motorbikes and cars alike: in recent weeks two Ferraris have been intercepted by the Cantonal Police on the Simplon Pass for having exceeded the permitted speed by far, proceeding at over 150 km / h in a stretch in where the limit is 80 km / h.
