The Warm-Up of the MotoGP Spanish Grand Prix ended 53 seconds early and with a thrill, when Pedro Acosta was the victim of a very high speed accident.
The Spanish rookie, the great revelation of this first part of the season, lost control of his GasGas Tech3 at turn 7, probably again due to some of those damp patches that caused so much discussion due to the 15 crashes of the Sprint, which don't seem to dry completely even though the sun is shining in Jerez.
His RC16 crashed into the air fences at very high speed, but the “Mazarron Shark” also hit the barriers after rolling rather disastrously in the gravel. Fortunately, however, it was the motorbike and the airfence that got the worst of it, as it got a hole, thus causing the session to be interrupted.
After a few moments of confusion, Pedro instead got up and was immediately taken to the garage, where Doctor Angel Charte was waiting for him, but he only seems to have found some bruises.
Below you can see the video of the accident of the Moto2 world champion, who after second place in yesterday's Sprint also occupies the same position in the World Championship, 29 points behind leader Jorge Martin.
