The celebrations really seem to never end for Valentino Rossi in the Made in Italy and Emilia Romagna Grand Prix, the last of his MotoGP career in front of the Italian public.
Perhaps the most beautiful is the one that came from his team, the Sky Racing Team VR46, which has dedicated the livery of its bikes both in Moto2 and in MotoGP: the traditional black and blue colors have given way to completely yellow fairings, with the written “Thanks Vale” and a large 46 on the tail.
As mentioned, Marco Bezzecchi and Celestino Vietti in Moto2 will bring these colors to the race, but Luca Marini’s Ducati will also have this color in the MotoGP race. And it will definitely be visible, given that the brother of the “Doctor” will start from the front row for the first time in his career.
The curious thing is that the concept is similar, albeit overturned, to the one that Valentino has chosen for the special helmet he wears this weekend, on which it was instead he who thanked the fans who accompanied him along the 26 years of his career in the World Cup.
Unfortunately, Rossi will have to start from the back of the grid today, but it’s safe to bet that he will give everything to greet the “yellow tide” in the best possible way.
