Good first match for Bezzecchi
The 2024 MotoGP season opens with a fourth and an eighth place for the Pertamina VR46 team: Fabio By Giannantonio and Marco Bezzecchi they were immediately among the most competitive in the official Sepang tests. Good results for the new duo from Ducati, who took advantage of the Malaysian track to test the GP23 and, in the case of Diggiaget to know the team better even on the track.
It was a productive morning for the former Gresini man, with the top-3 at lunchtime, a best time of 1:58.325 and 49 laps completed. Five less than Bez (1:58.605) who also suffered a crash without consequences in turn 4 in the penultimate stage run.

“First of all I'm really happy to be back on track with the new team colours. The day wasn't bad, I did a good job with the whole team and we managed to fix some aspects of the bike“, this the Bez to Pertamina VR46 channels. “In terms of riding, at the Valencia test, I wasn't perfect and we needed to make some steps forward. I didn't test the flying lap time, but the pace wasn't bad and I'm satisfied. Tomorrow we will continue in this direction, we will make some other changes and then the first time attack awaits us also to understand our real level“.

“I'm very happy, I couldn't wait. The sensations are really good, I immediately achieved my goal for the day. I wanted to start from the feeling I had in Valencia and start taking a step forward.
