As already anticipated, Suzuki unveiled its presentation date some time ago, but makes some details official. The big S team has everything ready to play attacking in the 2022 season and announces that it will take off the veils for the first time at the GSX-RR 2022 on February 4th from the Sepang Circuit.
The event will take place online and can be followed live at 10 am on the team’s website, its YouTube channels, Facebook and also on the official MotoGP channel. Joan Mir and Alex Rins will unveil the bike with which they will chase the title in 2022 directly from Malaysia, where a few days later they will take to the track for the first pre-season tests.
But Suzuki won’t be the only team to unveil the bike on February 4th. In fact, on the same day, the official Yamaha team will also remove the veils from the M1 which will be entrusted to Fabio Quartararo and Franco Morbidelli and which will be the bike to beat in 2022. The world struggle therefore begins even before the start of the season, with the manufacturer of Hamamatsu sharpening his knives to claim the 2020 title.
Once the bikes have been presented, it will then be time to hit the track, where all the teams will be present. It will start with the shakedown, reserved for test drivers, rookie and team owners with concessions (Aprilia only in this case), and the tests will begin on February 5th and 6th, just the day after Suzuki’s presentation.
