Vacation time for MotoGP, which will only return to action on 7 August with the British GP, six weeks after the one in Assen (26 June) which sent the riders on vacation. After 11 of the 20 GPs on the calendar, it’s time to take stock and curiosity about a season that sees Yamaha’s Frenchman Fabio Quartararo, world leader with 21 points on Aleix Espargaro’s surprising Aprilia, 58 on Johann Zarco’s Ducati Pramac and 66 on the first. Taking advantage of the long break we analyze some numbers and amenities, seeing who has collected, so far, the most wins, podiums, poles, laps in the lead, falls, placements in points and other interesting data. A list in which the ‘usual’ Quartararo, Bagnaia and Aleix Espargaro are joined, for various reasons, by Luca Marini, Marco Bezzecchi and the surprising Maverick Vinales.
