Francesco “Pecco” Bagnaia triumphs in the Italian GP in the MotoGP class. The Piedmontese rider from the official Ducati wins ahead of his teammate Enea Bastianini. Completing the podium is the world leader, the Spaniard Jorge Martin, riding another bike of Borgo Panigale, that of the Pramac team.
In fourth place is the Spaniard Marc Marquez who, on the Gresini team Ducati, leaves behind his compatriot Pedro Acosta (GasGas) and two other Ducati riders Franco Morbidelli and Fabio Di Giannantonio. Completing the top ten are the Spaniards Maverick Vinales (Aprilia), Alex Marquez (Ducati-Gresini) and the South African Brad Binder (Ktm). In the world championship standings Martin leads with 171 points, 18 more than Bagnaia and 35 more than M. Marquez.
